Greg is the Founder and CEO of Two Hands, revolutionising food supply chains through blockchain, CleanTech, FinTech, and AgriTech convergence. In 2019, Forbes published a 3-page feature as Two Hands was among the first globally to commercialise a blockchain-powered supply chain solution. Indicative of a huge moat, Two Hands continues to be one of the few.
After nearly five years of operations in Australia and China, Two Hands came to Scotland, inspired by a pivotal meeting with the Scottish Trade Commissioner to China. In Scotland, Two Hands is launching a world-first, blockchain-authenticated, scope 3 ESG reporting by food portion direct to end-buyers and consumers.
Greg began his career at EY in Sydney, earning his Chartered Accountancy before pursuing an MBA at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business. Following his MBA, Greg spent eight years at Procter & Gamble’s global headquarters in Cincinnati in both finance and brand management, where he discovered his true passion.
Greg’s international executive career included two years in Tokyo where he was President of Japan and South Korea for Australia’s largest food company. He spent 2 ½ years in Shanghai for Two Hands, before his entrepreneurial journey led him to don a kilt and call Scotland home.
After five years of successful commercial operations in Australia and China, Two Hands’ co-founders identified a compelling UK/EU market opportunity. They established a UK-based company and relocated their global IP and family to the UK. While Two Hands maintains a team in China, operations have been paused due to the devastating impact of zero-Covid policies. However the team, passionate about Two Hands’ mission, is ready to restart when conditions improve. Meanwhile, the Australian operation has been licensed to operate independently, enabling the co-founders to focus on scaling their proven platform and unlocking the vast potential of the UK/EU market.
