AI is no longer a future consideration, it is already embedded in operations, products, and workflows across the financial services sector. The question is no longer whether firms should use it. The question is whether they can prove they are using it responsibly, and whether the governance, evidence, and capability exist to stand behind that claim.
This was the premise of the AI & Data Leadership Forum’s Capability Building Session, convened on 17 June 2026 at Ormeau Labs, Belfast. Developed and delivered in partnership by FinTech-Tables and Keeper Solutions, with support from the Financial Conduct Authority, Higgs LLP, The FinTech Corridor, Barclays Eagle Labs and Ormeau Labs.
The session united FinTech founders, RegTech practitioners, compliance professionals, applied AI engineers, and regulators from the FCA in a focused, working environment.
